Chicken in Lemon Butter Sauce

 Ingredients:-


200 gm boneless chicken
3 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 cup heavy cream
50 gm unsalted butter
3 garlic cloves(minced)
1 1/2 tbsp crushed black pepper
1 1/2 tbsp finely chopped onion
1 tsp lemon zest




Preparation:-

In a mixing bowl, take half of the crushed black pepper and salt to taste.

Then add the chicken pieces.
Marinate and leave it for atleast 30 minutes.

Now in a pan add 1 tbsp oil and 1 tbsp butter.

Then add the chicken pieces and fry them from all the sides completely in medium heat.

This should take 10-12 minutes.

Once the chicken is done take out in a bowl.

Into the same pan add the lemon juice and reduce it in half of it's quantity in high heat.


Add rest of the butter to the reduced juice and let it cook in a low flame.

Constantly stirring it until it appears creamy.

Add the onion to it.

Cook until they light pink.

Add minced garlic and cook for 1/2 minutes.

Finally add the heavy cream and cook for about 2-3 minutes until it thickens.

Keep the heat as low as possible.
Keep stirring gently.

Now add rest of the crushed black pepper,lemon zest.

Mix and cook for 10-15 seconds.

Now add chicken pieces and mix well.

Cover and cook for 1-2 minutes in very low flame.

Chicken in lemon butter sauce is ready.
