Capsicum Paneer
Paneer 300 gm
Butter 1 1/2 tbsp
Ginger paste 1 tbsp
8 Green chilli paste
Cumin powder 1/2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Kashmiri red chilli powder
1 Medium size capsicum
50 gm cashew paste
2 tbsp poppy seeds paste
1 tbsp dried melon seeds paste
Kasuri methi
Garam mashala
Method:
1. Cut the paneer into small pieces and lightly fry in oil.
2. Fry until light golden color.
3. Mix salt and sugar in warm water in a pot and leave the paneer, So as to remain soft.
4. Heat white oil in a pan.
5. Mix 1 tbsp butter in the oil.
6. When the butter is mixed with the oil, add ginger paste and green chilli paste. It will stay on medium heat.
7. Stir for about 1 minute.
8. After 1 minute, add 1/2 tbsp cumin powder. Salt to taste, a littile kashmiri red chilli powder.
9. After 2 minutes, add cashew, poppy seeds, dried melon seeds paste.
10. Add a little sugar and mix well.
11. Continue to stir for 3-4 minutes.
12. Now add capsicum pieces.
13. Stir for 5 minutes.
14. After 5 minutes, add paneer.
15. Increase the heat, stir for 2 minutes, add a little water and cover with a lid.
16. If it boils after 2 minutes, reduce the heat and cover for 10 minutes.
17. After 10 minutes, turn off the oven, then add 1/2 tbsp butter,kasuri methi,garam masala and cover for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes it is ready.
