Chicken Afghani
Ingredients:-
1/2 kg chicken
1/2 cup fresh cream
1/2 cup yogurt
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1/2 lemon juice
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp oil
For onion paste:-
1 handful coriander leaves
3 green chillies
25-30 broken cashews
1/2 onion
Spices:-
1 tsp chat masala
1 tsp black pepper powder
1/2 tsp garam masala powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp kasuri methi(dry roast and crushed)
Method:-
For Marination:-
Marinate the chicken with onion paste,fresh cream,yogurt,all powder masala,ginger garlic paste,lemon juice for minimum 30 minutes.
Preparation:-
After 30 minutes, heat the oil in a pan over medium flame.
When the oil is well heated, give 1 tbsp butter.
Now you have to give the chicken.
keep aside the gravy.
Turn the chicken after 1-2 minutes.
The flame must be lowered.
Cover and leave for 8-9 minutes.
After 8-9 minutes, increase the flame and fry the chicken till golden color comes.
Once fried, the chickens have to be picked up.
Now pour the gravy in the same pan and add the rest of the butter.
Cook on medium-high flame for 4-5 minutes.
When the oil floats, add 1/3 cup (80-90 ml) of water to the chicken.
Mix well, cover and leave on low flame for 8-9 minutes.
After 8-9 minutes ready chicken afghani.
