10 Salad Recipes

 Salad is a colorful food that looks good and tastes good. Here are some simple recipes.



1 .  Chana Salad :
Ingredients :

Chopped vegetables 1 cup each

Capsicum r broccoli 3/4 cup each

Cooked chickpeas 1 cup


Method : In a pan, add 2 tbsp water and add pumpkin, carrot, beans, capsicum and broccoli. Add salt and pepper to taste. Now add cooked chickpeas. Cover and leave for 2-3 minutes then turn off the oven and serve with lemon juice.

2 .  Fruit & nut salad
Ingredients :

Yogurt 3 tbsp

Chopped apple 1 cup

Celery 1/2 cup

Grapes sliced 1/2 cup

Roasted walnut Chopped 1/2 cup

Lemon juice

Salt

Black pepper


Method : In a large bowl, mix together the yogurt, chopped apple pieces, celery, grapes, crushed walnuts, a little lemon juice, salt and pepper to taste. Ready.

3 .  Sweet potato salad
Ingredients :

Olive oil 2 tbsp

Cauliflower pieces 1/4 cup

1/2 cup sweet potato

Lettuce leaves

Few pomegranates

Salt

Pepper


Method : To do this, first put olive oil in a pan. Add cauliflower pieces and sweet potatoes. After stirring for a while, add salt and pepper to taste. Cover and keep for 10 minutes.
Pour into a bowl and mix in lettuce leaves, salt, pepper and spread some pomegranate on top.

4 .  Chicken salad
Ingredients :

1 sliced carrot

1 medium size sliced tomato

200 gm boneless chicken

Lime juice

1 pc ginger

4-5 garlic cloves

Chopped coriander leaves

2 chopped green chillies

1 cup chopped lettuce leaves

1 cup chopped cucumber

1 medium size chopped onion

Yogurt

Black pepper powder

Salt as per taste


Method : At first marinate the chicken. Put the chicken in a bowl & add 1 tsp lime juice, add garlic paste, ginger paste, 1/4 tsp black pepper powder, little bit salt and mix well. After mixing leave it for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes start boiling water in a kadai, add the marinated chicken in it. Cover and boil the chicken on high flame for about 10 minutes. After 5 minutes give it a little stir. After 10 minutes turn off your oven & put the chicken in a bowl. After boiling shred the chicken in long stripe.
Now take a big bowl, add 3 tbsp yogurt, 1/2 tsp black pepper powder, 1/2 tsp salt, mix well all together. Add carrot, tomato, chopped coriander leaves, chopped cucumber, chopped lettuce, chopped onion, chopped green chillies, lime juice,  boiled chicken. Mix well. Ready chicken salad.

5 .  Mixed salad
Ingredients :

1 cucumber

1 carrot

1 onion

1 tomato

Salt

Pepper

Lemon juice

Olive oil


Method : Cut into slices. Then pour in a bowl and mix well with coriander leaves, black pepper powder, salt, lemon juice and olive oil. Ready.

6 .  Broccoli salad
Ingredients :

1/2 cup Corn

1/2 cup broccoli

1/2 cup paneer

1/2 cup Red and yellow bell pepper

Chopped tomato

Black pepper

Salt

Chopped coriander leaves


Method : Heat water in a pan and boil corn, broccoli, 1 tsp salt for 1 minute. Then strain the water and pour it into a bowl. In a pan, fry the pieces of paneer with a little oil. Now add red and yellow bell pepper in the pan and stir. Then add  the steamed vegetables and stir. Add chopped tomato and fried paneer. Add 1 tsp black pepper powder. Stir for 1 minute, spread coriander leaves on top and pour into a bowl and serve.

7 .  Sprouts salad

1/2 cup black chickpeas

1/2 cup black eyed peas

Mung bean 1 cup

Water 2 cup

Salt 1/2 tsp

Add water as needed to cover the pulses. Cover the glass jars with a cloth bound by a rubber band.
Soak for 24 hours.
The next day, rinse them, strain the water & place them back into the jar. Repeat the same step till they sprout.

1 onion finely chopped

1 tomato finely chopped

1 green chilli finely chopped

1/2 capsicum finely chopped

1/2 pomegranate

Lemon juice 1 tsp

Black pepper 1/2 tsp

Salt 1/2 tsp

Coriander leaves 1 tbsp

Method : Pressure cook the sprouts ( 2 whistle). Add onion, tomato, capsicum, green chilli, pomegranate, lemon juice, coriander leaves, salt, black pepper. It should be mixed well. Ready.

8 . Vegetable salad

1/2 chopped red cabbage (optional)

1/2 cucumber sliced

1 carrot sliced

2 chopped tomato

Lettuce

Method :
In a bowl, mix 1 tbsp olive oil, 2 tbsp yogurt, 1 tbsp lemon juice, salt, pepper to taste. Now mix all the vegetables with it and it is ready.

9 .  Mushroom salad
Ingredients :

Oil 1 tbsp

Chopped mushrooms 1 cup

Paneer 1 cup

Beans, carrot, capsicum chopped 1 cup

Salt

Pepper


Method : Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan and add 1 cup chopped mushrooms and 1 cup paneer. After stirring for 1 minute, add 1 cup of beans, carrots, capsicum. After stirring for a while, add salt and pepper to taste. At the end, it should be taken down by stirring with chopped tomato. Ready.

10 .  Peanut fruit salad
Ingredients :

Grated coconut 3 tbsp

Orange juice 3 tbsp

Vanilla extract 1 tbsp

Honey 1 tsp

Peanut butter 1 tsp

In a bowl, mix together grated coconut, orange juice, vanilla extract, honey, peanut butter.

1/2 cup pineapple

1/2 cup grapes

1/2 cup watermelon

1/2 cup oranges

In a bowl, add pineapple, grapes, pomegranate, watermelon, oranges. Pour the mixture into it and mix it. Ready.
