Healthy Oats

Oats are whole grain food. Whole form of oats take a long time to cook. For this reason, most people prefer rolled, crushed, steelcut oats. Oats are commonly eaten for breakfast as oatmeal. Oatmeal is often referred to as Porridge. They are good source of carbs and fiber, including the powerful fiber beta-glucan. They also contain more protein and fat than most grains. They can lower cholesterol levels. Oats can improve blood sugar control. Oats contains vitamin B1 which helps in digestion of carbohydrates in the body.
Each gram of oats contains a lot of calcium, iron, magnesium, zinc, copper, manganese, thiamine, vitamin E etc which is higher than other cereals. Oats's phytochemicals help suppress cancer. Oats helps increase digestion. Oats can be eaten if the mind is bad. It contains special natural ingredients that help keep the mind well. Oats with a little honey is great as a breakfast.
• Oats for weight-loss
[ ] Ingredients: 4 tsp oats, 2 cups boiling hot water,milk,banana,apple,pomegranate,grapes,dates.
[ ] Method: Leave it for 3-4 minutes with 2 cups of boiling hot water at 4 tsp oats. Then mix the milk and give the fruits. Oats ready.
• Oats smoothie
• Ingredients : oats,banana,water
• Method : Blend with oats banana and water in a mixer for 30 seconds. Ready oats smoothie.
• Oats khichri
This is very healthy and helps in losing weight.
At first heat up a pan and add 1cup/100 gm oats. Dry roast for 2 mins on medium flame till it changes color. When you get nice fragrance turn off your oven and put in a bowl. Take another pan and add 1tbsp. olive oil, 1/2 tsp mustard seeds. 1tsp chopped ginger,a handful of chopped onion. Fry for 1 min on medium flame. After 1 min add handful of chopped carrot,cauliflower,capsicum,2 chopped green chillies and fry on medium flame. Add 1tsp salt. After 2mins add 1 cup water. Turn the flame high and close the lid for 2 mins. After 2 mins turn the flame low and add the roasted oats. Mix well. Then add another 1/2 cup water. Close the lid and let it sim for 5 mins. After 5 min turn the flame to high. Stir and cook for 1min and turn off your oven. Tasty and healthy oats khichdi is ready.
